About The Event
Hear poet and essayist Camille Dungy read a selection of her poems followed by a conversation with artist Daniel Duford. They will discuss the works on view in the exhibition An Earth Song, A Body Song: Figures with Landscape from OCMA’s Permanent Collection. The show considers the landscape as inhabited, worked, and experienced through the viewpoints of marginalized people. Dungy and Duford will discuss the shifting of artistic perspective and the consequences of an inclusive, multi-voiced approach to the living world.
Presented in partnership with OC Public Libraries | Costa Mesa-Donald Dungan Library.
